WHAT WE HELP WITHAT A GLANCE
Internet deal & plan comparison
In-home wiring & equipment troubleshooting
Router / modem setup & Wi-Fi optimization
Pre-installation prep & appointment guidance
Step-by-step cancellation & account-change help
We are an independent consumer-assistance company. We do not activate, provision, or make account changes to your provider service ourselves — service activation, enrollment, and account changes are completed by your provider or by you, directly with them.
Who we are, plainly stated InternetDealsHelp is an independent, third-party consumer-assistance company. We are a private company. We are not Comcast, not Xfinity, not an Xfinity call center, dealer, or authorized retailer, and we do not sell Xfinity service directly. We do not install or activate Xfinity service on your account — that is done solely by your provider. What we do is help you compare current deals and plans, fix physical wiring and equipment in your home, and provide phone-call guidance if you want to cancel or change your plan.

What happens when you call

Straightforward, no pressure, no obligation to book anything.

01

Tell us the issue

Slow speeds, a wiring problem, an upcoming installation, or a plan you want to cancel — tell our support line what's going on.

02

We walk you through it

Many issues can be diagnosed and fixed over the phone. For in-home wiring work, we'll explain what an on-site visit involves and the cost, if one is needed.

03

You decide what's next

Fix it yourself with our guidance, book a paid in-home visit from our independent technicians, or get a script for contacting your provider directly. No obligation either way.

What we help with

Deal & plan comparison

We review what's publicly available from providers in your area — speed tiers, promotional pricing, bundle offers — and explain which deals may fit your needs. Enrollment happens directly with your chosen provider.

Wiring & connection fixes

Loose coax connections, damaged in-wall wiring, splitter issues, and other physical causes of slow or dropped internet.

Equipment & Wi-Fi setup

Modem/router setup, Wi-Fi range and interference troubleshooting, and device connection help.

Installation prep & guidance

Not sure what to expect from an upcoming provider installation? We explain the process, typical costs, and what to ask for. Provider technicians handle the actual activation.

Cancellation & plan-change help

We explain the steps, likely fees, and equipment-return process, and can help you prepare what to say when you contact your provider to cancel or change plans.

We don't sell or enroll you in internet service ourselves — plan sign-up happens directly with the provider you choose. In-home technician visits, where offered, are performed by InternetDealsHelp's own independent staff or contractors and are billed separately with pricing disclosed before you book.

The fine print, up front

  • Independent third party. InternetDealsHelp is not owned by, contracted with, or acting as an agent of Comcast Corporation, Xfinity, or any other internet service provider. Provider names referenced on this site are used only to describe the services we help customers with; all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • No account access or enrollment. We cannot access, activate, enroll, cancel, or modify your provider account. Any sign-up, account, or billing change is made by you, directly with your provider, or by your provider's own technicians.
  • Deal and plan info is informational. Pricing, promotions, and availability we describe are based on publicly available information and can change without notice. Confirm current pricing and terms directly with the provider before signing up.
  • In-home visits are separate paid services. If you book a technician visit through us, that work and its cost are provided by InternetDealsHelp, not your internet provider, and pricing is disclosed before any visit is booked.
  • No guaranteed results. We cannot guarantee a fix will resolve every issue, that a deal will still be available, or that your provider will approve any cancellation or plan-change request in a particular way.
  • Your data. Information you share with us is used only to provide this service and is handled under our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.
  • Recorded lines. Calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training purposes; you'll be notified at the start of the call.

Common questions

Are you Xfinity or Comcast?

No. We are an independent consumer-assistance company, unaffiliated with Comcast Corporation or the Xfinity brand. To reach Xfinity directly, use their official website or the number on your bill.

Can you sign me up for a deal or plan?

We can explain what's publicly available and help you compare options, but enrollment happens directly with the provider you choose — we don't process sign-ups or take payment for provider service ourselves.

Can you install my Xfinity service?

We can't activate or provision Xfinity service — only your provider can do that. What we can do is help with in-home wiring, equipment setup, and getting your home ready before or after a provider installation.

Can you cancel my service for me?

Cancellations are handled by your provider directly. We'll walk you through the process, likely fees, and equipment return steps, and help you prepare what to say — but the cancellation itself is submitted by you.

Is the phone call free?

Yes, the initial phone consultation is free with no obligation. If an in-home technician visit is needed, the cost is disclosed clearly before you agree to book it.
